ROCKONSIN 2026 State Finals will be held at Summerfest, The World’s Largest Music Festival.
The ROCKONSIN State Finals will be conducted on Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20 on the Aurora Pavilion Stage. The 10 statewide finalist bands will be announced on May 15th. Five bands on each day performing 20-minute showcases each from 12:15pm – 2:45pm.
The winner & runner-up will each receive a prize-winning 45-minute showcase gig at the 2026 Summerfest on July 4th on the Aurora Pavilion Stage at 12:45pm & 2:00pm.
The winner & runner-up bands will also each receive professional studio recording time at Madison’s Blast House Studios (runner-up: 8 hours; winner: 12 hours) – bands must use their recording time within one year and with the original band.
Each of the 10 state finalist bands will receive a Shure vocal and an instrument microphone with cords. The winning band will also receive a Shure wireless vocal microphone and each band member will receive a ROCKONSIN award.
